The Daily D's Shameful Censorship: the Saga of ''The Kicker''

When the Daily Dartmouth suspended his strip, Ware found himself sunk in a sea of power-obsessed, agenda-driven editors, bureaucratic double-talk, and PC-madness—and it wasn't funny at all. The laughable conduct of the Daily Dartmouth staff and the ironic injustices inflicted upon Ware comprise just the sort of story that would be featured in his strip—and itself makes for the ultimate "Kicker" cartoon.

The Trees of Dartmouth

All Dartmouth students hear and learn the Alma Mater in their first days at the College. The history and importance of these words in our school song demonstrates the importance of trees to the spirit of Dartmouth. Only the stump of the Lone Pine remains, but Dartmouth and Hanover continue to value their trees, believing that many of these plants do, in fact, lend their individual personalities to the greater community.
