Laconia Prepares for War

Just down the road, about sixty miles away, Laconia will be hosting an event that will dwarf Commencement and any alumni reunion. For Laconia will be the scene of gnarled chrome, roaring engines, booze, and bikini bike washes. Laconia Bike Week runs from June 8-16, 2002. Last year, 375,000 bikers attended the event.
