COS Reform: In Pursuit of Due ProcessThere is no legitimate excuse to deny the students the liberties afforded by enacting the recommendations afforded by the Task Force’s report. To do so would be an insult to the very idea of justice. Alumni Constitution: Path to Victory; Over-aggression Comes Back to Bite DACSFinally, the battle over the deservedly maligned Alumni Constitution has concluded. If it had been fought as a traditional military campaign, rather than on the pages of various publications and websites, the aftermath would have left the Hanover Plain looking much like the fields of Gettysburg after those bloody July days. Let It Be. Just Let It BeHere’s a thought though: try lightening up a bit. In his most famous address, former Dartmouth president John Sloan Dickey posited, “There is nothing wrong with this world that better human beings cannot fix.” As a follow-up thought, how about, “There is nothing wrong with this world that cannot be fixed by not taking everything so seriously.”
