Big white sniper-esque van with Shaheen posters busing students from campus to the polling place.
Dems with bright yellow T-shirts and Shaheen stickers greeting students on the way out of academic buildings with flyers and offers for van service to Hanover High.
I spoke with the disgruntled head of Students for Sununu on campus, Elliot Olshansky ’04, who lamented that not only has Sununu skipped Hanover since the primary (Shaheen was here Friday), but he hasn’t even been in Grafton County since September.
At least one professor (Paul Christesen, Classics) seen going in to vote.
The ballot gives you the option of filling in just one oval to vote for a straight Republican or Democrat(ic) ticket.
Black markers on strings in the polling booths for filling out ballots. Oh the high technology of NH. The booths were kind of rickety–thought I was gonna pull a Chris Farley in “Black Sheep.”
Only 5 or so sign wavers from either side outside of Hanover High when I voted (noon).
