Such bulletin boards and display cases are meant for the UGA’s “passive programming” requirement. UGAs are supposed to put up an assortment of posters and whatnot with information on a topic of interest, e.g. an AIDS or STD or Eating Disorder or some other theme, or just a selection of what’s going on around campus outside of the residence halls.
