Dartmouth’s quarter system is often a source of gripes, but every cloud’s got at least one silver lining.
Vacancies have allowed seven students from Brown and Boston University, whose study-abroad plans were derailed by the recent earthquake in Japan, to take classes this spring at Dartmouth instead as an alternative. And it’s not a bad one: Dartmouth is known for its strong strong program in Japanese language and literature. Check out the story in more detail here.
