AboutThe Dartmouth Review, founded by disaffected Daily Dartmouth staffers in 1980, is Dartmouth's only independent newspaper. Its alumni and alumnae include Dinesh D'Souza (of the American Enterprise Institute and the Hoover Institution), Hugo Restall (of the Wall Street Journal), James Panero (of the New Criterion), Laura Ingraham, and other notable conservative intellectuals. The Dartmouth Review is published bi-weekly while Dartmouth is in session and distributed, for free, to all students living on campus (about 4,000). Additionally, about 10,000 alumni and supporters subscribe to The Dartmouth Review. Additionally, the Review maintains dartlog.net, which is updated daily with the latest Dartmouth news, and dartreview.com, which publishes online the contents of the print edition.
