The Banzai-tini

2.5 ounces of Cambridge Gin
1⁄2 ounce of Sperone dry vermouth
1⁄4 ounce of squid ink into a shell casing from a 105 mm Howitzer

I remember fishing for the elusive Hawaiian brown trout, only known to inhabit the reef surrounding Pearl Harbor. When I was off-duty, Lieutenant Platsburg and I would frequently target these trout, and had caught a great number until the Japanese regretfully rendered the fish extinct. As you might have guessed, there was not much time for fishing after that. Two years later, Lieutenant Platsburg lost his mind and tried to catch a humpback whale out of his Single Engine Thundercat Aeroplane. Upon snagging it in the back, he was jerked through the windshield and never seen again. A classic Japanese distraction tactic if I’ve ever seen one, and we won every single battle that day thanks to his heroics. Oh what a day it was. To celebrate, we all drank a special kind of martini, dyed pure black from the ink of a giant Japanese squid. Mix the ingredients well and enjoy; the drink pairs especially well with the smell of gunpowder.
