Wright on the Trustee Election

After telling the Daily Dartmouth he wouldn’t “intrude” into the debate over the Trustee election, College President James Wright did just that. First, he told the Daily D that because Dartmouth has had graduate schools for two centuries, any questions about whether Dartmouth has diverted attention from undergraduates in recent year are moot. He called Dartmouth’s commitment to undergraduates a “fact.”

He followed this up with a “community letter” this afternoon which said, in effect, that things couldn’t be better in Hanover.
